Conference Theme

The central theme of the conference is:
“Health Information Technology in Low- and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs)”
We welcome submissions that address innovative, practical, and scalable applications of health IT in LMIC contexts. Authors from LMICs or whose research focuses on LMIC-related challenges and solutions are especially encouraged to contribute.

Proceedings & Publication

  • The conference proceedings will be submitted to a reputed publisher for publication in a peer-reviewed book volume (approval pending).
  • Indexing status will be shared once the book series is finalized by the publisher.

Submission Guidelines

Paper Format

  • Maximum Length: 8 pages (including figures, tables, and references)
  • Additional pages (up to a maximum of 2) will be allowed at additional cost to be finalized.
  • All submissions must be formatted according to Springer’s Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) template.

Submission Platform

  • All papers must be submitted through the dedicated submission and peer-review portal, which will be shared upon confirmation of the publishing agreement with Springer.

Important Dates (Tentative)

  • Paper Submission Deadline: 31st August 2025
  • Notification of Acceptance: 30th September 2025
  • Camera-Ready Submission: 20th October 2025
  • Conference Dates: 28th-29th November 2025

Review Process

  • Each paper will undergo double-blind peer review by a panel of domain experts.
  • Submissions will be evaluated for originality, relevance to the theme, technical soundness, and clarity of presentation.

  • mHealth and Telemedicine
  • Health Information Exchange & EHRs
  • Health IT Policy and Governance
  • Public Health Surveillance and Decision Support
  • Gender, Equity, and Inclusion in Digital Health
  • Startups and Innovations in Low-Resource Settings

Co-Authorship & Participation

  • Each paper must have at least one registered presenting author.
  • A single author may submit a maximum of two papers as corresponding author.
